Here Goes Nothing
This is a brand new venture and I just know that it is going to be so wildly successful that by this time next year, I will have quit my day job and will be doing what I love full time!
This is not a fantasy... Well, maybe it is. But, it's one that I will be living. I have plans, big plans.
It has never been my intention to become exceedingly rich or famous. I just want to be happy. Art makes me happy. My future husband makes me happy. The idea of our future home filled with beautiful little faces that look like us... That makes me HAPPY! The idea of our future home having a craft room the size of this apartment!!! Holy Moses! I'm excited!
I know there is a lot to be done. SO this is where I'm starting:
1. Create a logo.
2. Prepare sample products.
3. With at least 20 items ready, create Etsy shop and list items.
4. Build website with witty blog-abouts and links to Etsy listings.
5. Fill out application for 2013 Spring/Summer Saturday Market.
6. Work, work, work on new products.
7. List new items daily on Etsy.
8. Be the best artist/crafter/business owner/creative genius that I can be!
9. Build upon my education, to be able to continuously create new and valuable items to present to those that neeeeed my work in their lives. :-)
That's my list of things to get me to where I want to be. My goals to accomplish.
I'm sure I will come up with a few necessary tasks along the way. But, this is my start - my jumping off point. Here I go! No turning back! I'm pumped!
More to come... Very soon. I gave myself some deadlines. Progess will be made by January 15. That's only 3 days! It's going to be fun.
